Who we are & how it started!

Our Story

This whole thing started because I needed to make some extra money.

Not “quit my job and move to Bali” money — just enough to cover Christmas, birthdays, and the usual adulting chaos. I was working as a nurse and figured “why not start a little side hustle?”

One day at work, a coworker hit me with the classic: “Man, I wish we had some decent jerky.” So that weekend I went full mad scientist in my garage with some cheap cuts, soy sauce, and whatever else I had lying around.

First batch came out shockingly good. Like… stupidly good. I brought some to work and suddenly I was “the Jerky Guy.” People were hitting me up on weekends asking if I had more. One dude took one bite and forgot how to speak English for thirty seconds.

What started as a simple “let me flip a few bags” mission somehow turned into actual demand. Small batches, real ingredients, zero junk. Just flavors that actually slap.

Even after becoming a nurse, the orders kept rolling in. Then Covid showed up, I said “hard pass” on the vaccine, and that decision politely escorted me into a brand new career with an amazing company.

But the jerky? The jerky never stopped.

Now Vibe Jerky is the same garage-born hustle — just with slightly better lighting and fewer mystery stains on my shirt. The line’s longer, the flavors are cleaner, and I’m still low-key shocked people actually like this stuff.
